Who we are
This policy applies to the TutorDiary mobile app and this website, operated by FRF Tech ("we", "us"). Contact: support@tutordiary.example. [Placeholder: add the registered legal entity name and address.]
Short version
TutorDiary has no accounts and no servers that store your diary. The information you enter stays on your device. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Information you enter in the app
You may enter your business details (name, logo, phone, email, address, payment QR code), and information about students and teachers (names, nicknames, phone numbers, emails), classes, schedules, attendance, lesson plans, session passes, billing, expenses and planner notes. This is stored only in a database on your device. We do not receive, access or control it.
Your role as the tutor
Because the data you enter stays with you, you decide what to record and why, and you are responsible for having the right to record it. This includes information about students who are minors: obtain any consent required by the law that applies to you from the student or their parent or guardian, and use the information only for running your tutoring.
Information we may receive
If crash reporting is enabled in your version of the app, technical details about an error (such as device model, operating system version, app version and the error itself) are sent to our error-tracking provider, Sentry, so we can fix bugs. This is not intended to include your diary content. This website may record basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) through its hosting provider. [Placeholder: confirm exact analytics and logging before launch.]
Device permissions
Photos: used only when you choose a diary logo. Notifications: reminders for classes and plans are scheduled on your device and are not sent through our servers. Face ID / fingerprint: used only to unlock the app through your device's own security; we never receive biometric data.
Backups, documents and sharing
Backups, recaps and invoices are created on your device. They leave your device only when you choose to share or save them (for example to a messaging app or cloud drive). Once shared, the receiving service's own terms and privacy practices apply, and you are responsible for who you send them to.
How we use information
Crash reports are used to find and fix errors and keep the app stable. Website logs are used for security and basic operation. We do not use your diary data because we do not have it.
Sharing with third parties
We share crash-report data only with our service providers acting on our behalf (currently Sentry) and where required by law. We do not sell or rent personal data.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Retention and deletion
Data in the app stays until you delete it or uninstall the app, which removes the local database. Backup files you exported remain wherever you saved them and must be deleted by you. Crash reports are kept only as long as needed to fix issues. [Placeholder: confirm provider retention period.]
Security
Your data is protected by your device's own security. You can add an app lock (biometrics or passcode) in the app. No method of storage is perfectly secure, and because data is stored only on your device you should keep your device updated and your backups safe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under Vietnam's personal data protection law or the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data we hold, to object to its processing, and to withdraw consent. Since diary data is held only on your device, you can exercise these directly in the app. For data we hold (such as crash reports), contact us at support@tutordiary.example. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
TutorDiary is intended for tutors and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version; material changes will be noted in the app or on this website.
